Earning Health Plan Details

  • Minimum entry age of 91 days.

  • No upper age limit for enrollment.

  • Life long Renewability of policy under the then prevailing Health Insurance Product or its nearest substitute approved by IRDA.

  • Co-payment During purchase of the first policy, if eldest member insured is

    • Below 61 years, no co-payment is applicable.

    • 61 years or above, 20% of the claim amount under the policy has to be borne by you.

  • Premium to be paid on renewal and the subsequent continuation of cover are subject to change with prior approval from IRDA.

  • 30-day Waiting Period for claim for all illnesses, except injury.

  • Grace period of 30 days to renew your policy once it expires.

Health Earning - Group Plan

Health Earning Plan is a specialized health insurance offering that allows individuals to form a group for ensuring their health and earn rewards together.

Key Benefits of Religare Health Earning Plan

  • Allows individuals to ensure their health and become a Group Owner
  • Enables them to invite friends, family or colleagues who wish to ensure their health and join the group
  • Helps them resolve together to stay healthy
  • In order to be eligible for Return of Premium following conditions are to be met by the Group
    • There should be minimum 10 LIVES or members in the Group on the date of evaluation.
    • Date of evaluation of benefit = 12 Months from the Date of Formation of Group.
    • Date of Formation of Group = 30 Days from the Date of purchase of the first policy in the Group.
    • There should not be a claim (Intimated/filled/rejected etc.) for any of the insured member in 12 Months evaluation period.
    • The refund of premium will be done as per below table.

What is a Health Earning Plan?

Health Earning Plan is an exclusive plan available for the policyholders of CARE policy that allows them to form a Group and enjoy rewards. It is a unique health plan that encourages individuals to lead a healthy life and avoid the need to make claims on their health policies. Under this plan, the Group Owner - the member who initiates the group - can invite their friends, relatives and colleagues to join the group. The group should have a minimum of 10 members and maximum of 40 members, including self. The members will be entitled to have the same or different sum insured. They can also have different optional covers like individual, multi-individual or floater plans.

Why is Health Earning Plan Needed?

Getting a health cover is highly important nowadays, irrespective of our age and the lifestyle we lead. Being insured is a good way to protect our savings as well as health. Furthermore, plans like Health Earning Plan is an added advantage available to the policyholders of health insurance to give boost to their hard-earned savings.

1. Health Earning Plan is a special offering by Religare Health Insurance that aims to help individuals stay focused on their health and enhance their savings through rewards.

2. Return of Premium is additional benefit available on the policies issued in the Group.

3. Return of premium will be credited in the accounts of the Policy Owners or Policy proposers of the policies issued in the group.

Documents Required for Health Earning Plan

No Additional documents are required for the Policy Owner except for PAN Card in case the premium for any policy exceeds Rs.49,999/- .

Q. Who can be part of the Health Earning Plan?

Religare Health Insurance allows the policyholders of its family health plan CARE to form a Group under Health Earning Plan. They are entitled to invite their friends, relatives and colleagues to enter the Group.

Q. What will happen if the Group does not meet the member requirement criteria?

If the Group does not have a minimum number of 10 members and fails to fulfill such criteria within a period of 30 days, then the Group ID will be disabled. All the policy owners will be informed about the Non-formation of the Group.

Q. What will happen if the Group meets the member requirement criteria?

If the Group manages to have the required number of members within a period of 30 days, then the Group is formed. A Group Policy Document is issued to all members, containing vital information such as names of all members, policy number under which members are insured, Group ID, premium details, criteria for refund, etc.

Q. What will happen if the Group size is reduced during the plan term?

The Group will cease to exist if Group size reduces below 10 members owing to reasons like short term cancellation, termination of coverage by company, death of member, etc.

Q. What are the eligibility criteria for Refund of Premium?

The premium will be refunded based on the number of members in the group, on the 31st Day (from the date of issuance of first policy). Refund will be done if none of the group members report/ file/ reject/ pay claim during the 12 months from the Date of Formation of the Group.

Q. Who will receive the Refund of Premium?

All the policy owners in the Group will be entitled to receive the Refund of Premium, if the Group fulfills the criteria of No Claim. Every member in the plan will be paid a certain percentage of the premium (excluding GST amount) he or she pays for the type of policy and sum insured chosen.

Q. How long will the benefits Health Earning Plan be available?

All the policy owners can enjoy the benefits of Health Earning Plan up to 1-year policy term only.
